Amanda Novella Taylor, 75, of Butler, Missouri, died on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at St. Joseph Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. Novella was born on August 30, 1941 in Swifton, Arkansas to Wayne Horace and Annie Novella (Reeves) Jackson. She worked as a nurses'' aide in long-term care. Novella enjoyed gardening, watching hummingbirds and being surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Kathy Ann Wilson and one grandson. Survivors include two sons, Gary Wayne Schroeder and Steven John Schroeder; three daughters, Donna Kay Thomas, Janet Lynn Marrs, and Suzanne Barker; 11 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. A memorial service for Novella will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Schneider Funeral Homes and Crematory, La Cygne Chapel. Inurnment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery, La Cygne.
