Mary Alice Francis, age 83, La Cygne, Kansas passed away on Sunday April 16, 2017. She was born at La Cygne on September 27, 1933 the daughter of Harry and Ona Fultz Anderson. She married Arthur "Art" Francis on September 14, 1950. He preceded her in death on April 19, 2012. She was member of the La Cygne Christian. She enjoyed her family, especially planning parties for her grandkids and fixing them biscuits and gravy. She was also preceded in death by three brothers: Charlie, Roy and Johnny Anderson, two sisters, Faye Lee and Wilma Anderson and a son in law, Donald. She is survived by five daughters: Glenna Mae Farris and Jim, Brenda Kay Taylor, Linda Faye Browning and Dennis, Rhonda Rae Moore and Jim, and Mitzi Gay Mossman and Mark, one brother, Jerry Anderson, one sister, Betty Moore, thirteen grand and several great and great great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 11 am Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, La Cygne Chapel. Burial in the Star Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm Wednesday at the Chapel. The family suggests contributions to Cross Roads Hospice. On line condolences for the family can be left at www.schneiderfunerals.com.
