Michael Owen Calvert

Michael Owen Calvert, age 46, of Branson, Missouri passed away peacefully Friday, June 23, 2017 at Cox Medical Center Branson as a result of kidney failure. Mike or Calvy as he was known, had a very generous heart. His passion of riding four wheelers often resulted in his second passion of repairing four wheelers. He will be remembered as the one who would always be there to help. Mike is survived by his parents Bob and Linda Calvert of La Cygne, Kansas, sister, Amy Loomis and children Austin, Morgan, Molly and Allison, also of La Cygne, and a brother Scott Calvert and children Cody and Gracie of Pleasanton, Kansas. A remembrance service will be held 7 pm Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Standing by the Door, 181 First St, Hollister, MO. A funeral mass will be held 6 pm Wednesday July 5, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Louisburg, Kansas. A time of fellowship will follow the mass in the church basement. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Mound City, Kansas. A decision regarding contributions will be made shortly and will be posted on the funeral home website.
