James Thomas Reynolds, 98, of Winchester, KS died on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at the FW Huston Senior Living Center, Winchester, KS. Memorial services will be 10:00 am on Saturday, Nov 3rd, 2018 at the United Methodist Church, Winchester with Rev. Larry Buss officiating. Burial of cremated remains will follow in the Reformed Presbyterian Cemetery, Winchester. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. The Becker-Dyer-Stanton and O’Trimble Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Memorials are suggested to the FW Huston Senior Life Center and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Condolences to the family may be left online at www.beckerdyer.com. James was born on Dec. 21, 1919 in Winchester, KS the son of Thomas and Lucy (Gibson) Reynolds. He graduated from Winchester Rural High School in 1937. He attended Ft Hays State College for two years and worked as a teletype operator for the Union Pacific Railroad for over 37 years retiring as office manager for the downtown Los Angeles office in 1979. James enjoyed gardening, raising flowers, sports, cooking and especially his dogs. He was a member of the SATYRS Motor Cycle, Hellenic Fellowship Club. Survivors include two brothers, Harvey (Imogene) Reynolds, Winchester, KS and Don (Carol) Reynolds, of Winchester, KS. And several nieces and nephews. His parents, two brothers, Alvin and Lewis Reynolds, and five sisters, Irene Smith, Dora Kiernan, Ethel Coppinger, Grace and Blanche Reynolds preceded him in death.
