Mass of Christian Burial for William E. “Bill” Enright, age 64, of Overland Park, Kansas formerly of Salina will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 10, 2016 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Solomon with Father John Wolesky as Celebrant. Mr. Enright passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at his home in Overland Park. He was born May 13, 1952 on the family farm near Kipp, Kansas the son of Bernard and Margaret (Alyward) Enright. Bill moved to Salina as a teen and attended Salina High School. He was active in sports and played men’s fast pitch softball. He also enjoyed his rock band, his 1966 Pontiac GTO, and academics. Bill was hired by Phillips Lighting in the glass plant area and started college at Marymount College. He graduated, became a C.P.A., and continued his career with Phillips for 35 years. Bill is survived by: his sons, Michael Enright with his wife Samantha, and Kevin Enright; brother Kevin Enright; former spouse Mary Hill; sister-in-law Cindy Enright; niece Kendra Enright; nephew Joe Enright and his wife Suzanne; and great nephews Elden and Ethan Enright. He was preceded in death by his brothers James Enright, John Enright, his sister Marilyn Enright, and his parents. His final resting place will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery near Solomon. A Parish Vigil Service will be 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 9, 2016 at the Carlson-Becker Funeral Home in Solomon with the family receiving friends following. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association and may be sent in care of the Carlson-Becker Funeral Home, P.O. Box 308, Solomon, Kansas 67480.
