James Patrick (Kollman) Nigh passed away Monday, November 25, 2019 at Olathe Hospice House, Olathe, Kansas. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Bruce Funeral Home, 712 S. Webster, Spring Hill, Kansas 66083 (913-592-2244). Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 2, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Gardner Cemetery, Gardner, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be made to any of the following: James’s daughters, or to help with funeral expenses or a charity in memory of James. Condolences may be left at www.brucefuneral home.com James was born on January 27, 1971 in Kansas City, Kansas. His parents are Diane Sue (Johnson) and Roger Lee Nigh. James attended Gardner High School and worked as a plumber. His daughters were the most important part of James’s life, which he loved more than anything. James never met a stranger and enjoyed being with people. He loved sports and animals, especially his dog Stella. James was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his daughters: Kayleigh Kollman, Paola, Kansas, Shelby Kollman and Jadyn Kollman, Gardner, Kansas; his mother Diane Nigh, Olathe, Kansas; sisters Sarah Royal, Spring Hill, Kansas and Kathlene Bell and husband Mike, Olathe, Kansas; many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
