Victoria Gross Moore

Victoria Alice Gross Moore, born August 29, 1950, died March 5, 2019 in Lexington, Kentucky after a long battle with cancer. She was the daughter of Nannie Elizabeth Crabtree Gross of Beattyville, Kentucky and the late Oval Gross. She was a member of the McGuire Memorial Presbyterian Church, a former Family Support Worker for the Kentucky Cabinet for Human Resources, and a former Office Clerk for Tom Hollon’s Law Office. Also, Victoria served as a board member for both Lee County Habitat and KRADD and was a session member at her church. She is survived by one daughter, Tara Elizabeth Newman and husband Charles of Beattyville, Kentucky; two brothers, James David Gross and Jackson Oval Gross and wife Fonda, both of Beattyville, Kentucky; one sister, Diana Gross Hamilton and husband Gene of Beattyville; and three granddaughters, Alexandria Elizabeth Noe of Louisville, Kentucky, Brooklyn Rose Newman, and Holly Nicole Newman both of Beattyville. She is also survived by her best and beloved friend, Susan Brandenburg Mosier as well other friends and relatives. Victoria was preceded in death by her father; four paternal uncles; and three paternal aunts; four maternal aunts, a beloved maternal uncle, as well as a niece. She is also survived by Josh Burton, Allie’s special someone and Cameron Brown, Brooklyn’s special someone who became a special part of her family.
