Bula Williams, age 86, of Hwy 1016 in Berea, passed away at her home on Monday morning, April 24, 2017.

Bula was born in Estill County to the late Albert and Malinda Lainhart Bicknell. She worked as a dietician for Berea Hospital and was a member of Silver Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brother Bob Bicknell, one sister Edna Grace Bicknell, and three brothers in law, Hubert Smith, Jerry Guinn and Walter Powell, Jr.

She is survived by her loving husband Glyndon Williams; seven siblings Bernice Smith, Eula (Taylor) Mathers, Junior (Carolyn) Bicknell, Imogene Powell, Francis Guinn, Jim (Pearline) Bicknell and Betty (Patrick) Gooding; one sister in law, Barbara Bicknell and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 am Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Lakes Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Berea Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5-8 pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Gerald Romans, Reggie VanWinkle, Buddy Boykin, Keith Romans, Jim Bicknell, and Kenneth Allen. Honorary bearers will be Gilbert Calico, Kenton Davis, P.D. Webb, and Virgil King.
