Clarence G Pingleton age 87 of Berea passed Oct.11,2017 at Pruitt Health, Fort Oglethorpe, Ga.

He was born in Rockcastle County, on Jan.24, 1930 to the Late John and Nannie Wilmot Pingleton.

He served in the Korean War, He was retired from Parker Seal after 34 years. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years Evelyn Rucker Pingleton; a son James & (Donna) Pingleton of Berea; a daughter Gail & (James) Clayton of Tunnel Hill, Ga; a grandson Jason (Kelly) Azbill of Tunnel Hill Ga. ; a granddaughter Melissa Pingleton of Berea; a great granddaughter Kaitlynne Azbill of Tunnel Hill Ga.; a step granddaughter Stephanie Clayton of Tunnel Hill, Ga.

He is also survived by a brother Arnold (Ruth) Pingleton of Crab Orchard: a sister Lula Jenkins of Pensacola, Fl.; 6 nieces; 1 nephew. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Ruby Pauline Pingleton and a brother in law Carl Jenkins.

Visitation for Clarence will be Sunday Oct. 15, 2017 from 6-9 pm at Lakes Funeral Home, Funeral services will be Monday 1:00 pm with Rev. Greg Lakes officiating, burial will be in Madison Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers; Mike Moberly, Glen Roberts, Larry Kidwell, Bobby Blanton, Carl Pingleton, Shawn Pingleton.
