Gladys B. Laws, age 89, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Springfield Nursing Home.

Gladys was born in Garrard County to the late Luther and Cordie Marlow Brooks. She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Alois D. Laws, one daughter Marlene Laws and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by six children Alois D. (Karen) Laws, Jr., Sebastian (Judy) Laws, Marlin D. (Connie) Laws, Jenny Lee Laws, Kathy C. (Darrell) Stocker, and Mary Ann Laws; 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be 11am Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Lakes Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5-8pm at the funeral home.
