Nancy Wilson Obituary

Nancy Wilson, age 89, died Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the Hospice Compassionate Care Center in Richmond.

Nancy was born in Rockcastle County to the late Dewey and Flora Wolfe Bullen. She was a retired inspector for Parker Seal Co. and the oldest living member of Roundstone Baptist Church, she was the first one baptized at the church.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Ben R. Wilson, one son, Thomas Dewey Wilson, three grandchildren, two sisters Sally Sigmon and Ella Mullins, and four brothers J.T. Bullen, John D. Bullen, Bob Bullen, and Tom Bullen.

She is survived by her four children Eddie D. (Virginia) Wilson, John (Linda) Wilson, June (Larry) Durham, and Diane (Ronnie) Turner; one brother, Joe Bullen; 11 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11am, Monday, April 17, 2017 at Lakes Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Floyd officiating. Burial will follow in the Berea Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6-9 pm at the funeral home.

Active pallbearers will be Larry Dale Bullen, Joey Bullen II, Charles Bullen, William T. Bullen, Jr., James Bullen and Tommy Bullen. Honorary bearers will be her grandchildren and Bill and Nancy Sigmon.
