Jessie "Jim" Lee

Jessie James “Jim” Lee Jr., 82, of Cynthiana, died Friday, September 13, 2019. Born January 10, 1937 to the late Jessie James Lee Sr. and Elizabeth Manley Lee. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Darlene Market and three sisters, Elnora Franklin, Jane Price and Mary Alpha Barnes. Jim is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, June Clayton Lee; two sons, Jessie (Terri) James “J.J.” Lee III and Robert W. (Carrie) Lee; two daughters, Karen Lee (Frank) McMullen and Betty (Gordon) Steinke; a brother, John A. (Mary Ann) Lee; a brother-in-law, Tom (Gayle) Clayton; nine grandchildren, Jessica (Dillon) Tarr, Melanie Lee, Cadence Ruah Lee, Elijah Lee, Shannon Cowan, Julie Lizer, Andrea (Ryan) Neville, Carrie Steinke and Aaron Market, and eleven great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 17th at the Cynthiana First Church of God by Earl Littman. Visitation will be Monday, September 16th at Ware Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Burial will be at Battle Grove Cemetery.
