Billy Gene Evans 1944-2020 Billy Evans, 75, of Grayson, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky. He was born May 17, 1944, in Elliott County, a son of the late David Van and Eliza Robinson Evans. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, David "Red" Evans, Pat Evans, and Arthur "Cat" Evans; two sisters, Cloma Jordan and Eloise Messer. Billy was a farmer and horse trader. He dearly loved horses and the independence of being a farmer. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Perry Evans; a son, Robert (Pam) Evans of Grayson; three daughters, Jacqueline Evans of Alexandria, Virginia, Sherry Evans and Kim Evans both of Grayson; a brother, James "Bo" Evans of Grayson; three sisters, Greta Adams, Alma Jo Bowling, and Edith Jones all of Grayson; four grandchildren, two great -granddaughters and a very special granddaughter, Jessica Ballard.
