John Paul Johnson 1956 – 2019 John Paul Johnson, 62, of Grayson passed away, Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland. He was born June 20, 1956 in Grayson; a son of the late Jake and Izora (Seagraves) Johnson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Leroy Johnson, Billy Joe Johnson, and Charles Ray Johnson; four sisters, Betty Lou Hall, Nora Sue Seagraves, Bonnie Gay Johnson, and Mary Elizabeth Johnson . John proudly served his Country in the United States Army and had been employed by Kentucky Division of Forestry in Morehead. He had also served as park ranger at Grayson and Greenbo Lake State Parks . He is survived by his wife, Donna (Gollihue) Johnson; a son, Brent Allen Johnson; a daughter, Christy Jo (Joseph Burns) Wolford both of Boyd County; two stepsons, Brandon (Stephanie) Kingman of Willard, and Paul (Apryl) Kingman of Mansfield, OH; a stepdaughter, Jessica (John) Grey of Mansfield, OH; seven grandchildren, Chandler, Noah, Nathaniel, Nadia, McKenna, Danika, and Raiden Sky. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson, Louie Bair, minister. Burial will follow at the Edison Cemetery.
