age 87, of Louisville, died peacefully on September 14, 2017. Bea battled several ailments over the last few years with courage and strength. In life, she was a fun, loving, and kind-hearted soul who cared for others more than she cared for herself. She touched many lives with her love. Bea was proud to be part of The Mermaids where many smiles and laughs were shared. Bea is survived by her loving husband of 68 years William Donald “Don” Schultz; daughter, Mary Jo Schultz; son, William Gregory Schultz (Angela); five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren, all of Louisville. She is preceded in death by her beloved daughter Susan Lynn Schultz; her sisters Helen Wilhelm, Frances Schuler, Mary Gosnell; and a brother, George “Red” Kirn. Her funeral mass will be on Tuesday, September 19th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 2141 Lancashire Ave. Louisville, KY 40205. Visitation will be on Monday, September 18th from 2 – 8 p.m. at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Louisville, KY 40205. The family would like to thank all the staff and their new friends at Traditions of Beaumont and more recently, the staff at the Eastern Star Home for their compassionate care and friendships. We would also like to thank Sharon Timmons for her love, care, and friendship over the years.
