Carole Jean Batcheldor

BATCHELDOR, Carole Jean, 84, of Louisville, entered eternal life on Friday, September 15, 2017 and went to join her beloved husband, Jack. They were married 56 years. Carole was a 1951 graduate of Mercy Academy. She was a charter member of Ascension Catholic Church a member of the Fifty Something Club. Carole never met a stranger and loved everyone. She had a special devotion to the Blessed Mother. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and brother, Wayne Neville. Carole is survived by her son, Bob Batcheldor (Maureen); grandson, Sam, who always called her “Little Grandma”; sister, Doris Colvin (Jack); brother, Robert “Bob” Neville (Jean); and sister-in-law, Emily Neville. Her funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 19 at Ascension Catholic Church, 4600 Lynbrook Dr. with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Monday at Highlands. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus.
