EVANS, Dorothy “Dottie” Abel, 85, of Louisville passed away on Monday, May 15th. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gaylon Evans; her parents, Henry Abel and Hazel Meyer James, and step-father Carl Hoesch; and one brother, Earl William “Jack” Abel. She is survived by one son, Steven Moneypenny (Celeste); one daughter, Sharon Moneypenny Goodlett; two grandchildren, Matthew Goodlett, and Stephanie Cooper (Jason); and two great grandchildren, Alexis and Jason II Cooper. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, May 22nd at 10:00 AM at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with burial to follow in the Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, May 21st from 3:00 – 8:00 PM at Highlands Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (nationalmssociety.org).
