Frederick Klein

Klein, Frederick Earl (Bud), 91, passed away on May 4th, 2017 at his home. He was the son of Roy and Regina Klein. Having grown up in Louisville he was a graduate of St. Xavier High School and a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. He was a World War II Veteran of the United States Navy. He retired as Vice President of the Auto Parts Division of Koster Swope Buick. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his two sisters, Gloria Klein Wiggington and Jeanie Klein Kline. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara Beckmann Klein; a brother, Gene Klein (Peggy); a sister, Rose Marie Kastelhun; two daughters, Evelyn Farr (Steven) and Renee Klein; a grandson, Adam Farr; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, May 7th at 4:00 p.m. at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday until time of service at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that condolences be expressed in the form of a donation to Uspiritus or Maryhurst.
