Lorena Pearl Stivers

Lorena Pearl Stivers (Heaton), 101, of Louisville went home to be with her Heavenly Father on April 21, 2021. <br><br>She was born in Shelbyville, KY on December 14, 1919 to Lytle C. and Myrtle Jewell Heaton, and was raised in Shelby County where she graduated from Glenyrie High School. <br><br>After her marriage to Allen C. Stivers, Sr. on December 31, 1940, they moved to Louisville where she worked at Robert Hall Clothing Store, and eventually retired from Woolco Department Store as an Assistant Ladieswear Manager. <br><br>Lorena was a 40-year member of Deer Park Baptist Church, and later moved her membership to West Broadway Baptist Church. <br><br>Preceding her in death, were her mother and father, husband, three sisters, two brothers, daughter-in-law Barbara D. Stivers, and great-grandson Grant W. Mann. <br><br>Left to cherish her memory are her children Allen C. Stivers, Jr., Patricia A. Mann (Edwin), and Vicki L. Keiber (Steve); six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews. <br><br>A special thank you to her Hosparus Care Team who made her final days comfortable and loving. <br><br>Visitation will be 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Sunday, April 25, 2021, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, Louisville, KY 40205. <br><br>Her funeral Service will be Monday, April 26, 2021 at 11:00 am at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Grove Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville, KY. Expressions of sympathy may be made to either of her beloved churches.

Lorena Pearl Stivers (Heaton), 101, of Louisville went home to be with her Heavenly Father on April 21, 2021.

She was born in Shelbyville, KY on December 14, 1919 to Lytle C. and Myrtle Jewell Heaton, and was raised in Shelby County where she graduated from Glenyrie High School.

After her marriage to Allen C. Stivers, Sr. on December 31, 1940, they moved to Louisville where she worked at Robert Hall Clothing Store, and eventually retired from Woolco Department Store as an Assistant Ladieswear Manager.
