Emma Love Buford, age 87 of Plano, TX, passed away August 3, 2018, in Dallas, TX. She was born October 8, 1930, in Paducah, KY, to Hervie E. Brown and Billie C. (Williams) Brown and lived in Paducah for 84 years. Emma attended Franklin Jr. High and Augusta Tilghman High Schools. She met and married her sweetheart, Adrian Buford, and together they owned and operated Broadway Tinners, serving the Paducah, KY, area with roofing, sheet metal and air conditioning. She had many varied hobbies, including painting, crossword puzzles, antique shopping and quilt collecting. In her spare time she adored spending time with her grandkids and hosting Trivial Pursuit game nights. Emma is survived by her children: Sherry Love Armstrong and Tim Buford and wife Karen; grandchildren: Brandon Wyatt and wife Heather, Amy Wyatt, Heather Cochrane and husband Alan and Tim Buford II and wife Janani; great grandchildren: Hayden Wyatt, Savannah Wyatt, Jordon Bostrom, Maddie Cochrane, Whitney Buford and Cassidy Buford; brothers: Jackie Brown and wife Martha and Phillip Brown and wife Leesa; and sister-in-law: Jean Brown. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 71 years: Adrian Buford; her parents; and two brothers: Vernon Brown and Tommy Brown. Funeral services will be held 10:00am, Saturday, August 11, 2018, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home, 120 Memorial Drive, Paducah, KY 42001. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 6965 Mayfield Road, Paducah, KY 42003. A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday evening at Milner & Orr Funeral Home from 5:00 to 8:00pm.
