Gordon Lee Kinsey age 79, of Lone Oak passed away Friday, July 27, 2018 at Parkview Nursing & Rehab Center. Gordon was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and a 1958 graduate of Lone Oak High School. Gordon was a veteran of U.S. Army and spent many years in insurance sales. He retired from Monumental Insurance Company. Gordon was fondly known as “Paw-Paw” to many children other than his own grandchildren. Gordon truly loved his church and his grandchildren. Survivors include two sons, Jason (Cecilia) Kinsey and Chad (Cassidy) Kinsey both of Lone Oak; one sister, Sandra Kinsey of Lone Oak; two brothers, Carroll (Sue) Kinsey and Jimmy (Barbara) Kinsey both of Paducah; six grandchildren, Christopher, Kodi, Kaylee, Gage, Nathan & Madison Kinsey all of Lone Oak; several nieces and nephews. Preceding in death was his wife, Frances Adams Kinsey; parents, James Walker Kinsey, Sr. & Pauline Posey Kinsey; twin infant daughters, Aline & Pauline Kinsey. Services will be held Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Mike Day officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until service time of 12:00 p.m. at the church.
