William “Bull” Cavanah Sr., 79, of Paducah passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Lourdes Hospital. Mr. Cavanah was a former construction worker and a member of the Operation Engineers Local #181. He was a Mason with Plain City lodge #449 in Paducah. Mr. Cavanah was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Rose Cavanah of Paducah; three sons, William “Grizzly” Cavanah Jr., Mark (Mary) Cavanah, and Ronnie (Beth) Cavanah all of Paducah; six grandchildren, Patricia Doran, Josh Cavanah, James Cavanah, Kylie Cavanah, Elizabeth Jones and Matthew Cavanah; one great granddaughter, Olympia Doran; one brother, Everett Cavanah of Los Banos, CA; and one sister, Anna Lee Calvert of Henderson, Ky. He was preceded in death by his parents, James W. Oldham and Lucinda Oldham. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Lindsey Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Lawrence and Rev. Topper Council officiating. Friends may visit the family from 10:00am till the service hour on Wednesday.
