Anna Loretta Weddington, age 90, of Hager Hill died Saturday May 30, 2020 at her residence. She was born November 22, 1929 in Leander to the late Hershel and Ethel Blair Weddington. Surviving her death are one nephew: Mike Bundren, and one brother: Kenneth Weddington. Loretta was a member of the Beech Wall United Baptist Church and a retired teacher for the Bethel School District. Visitation will be held from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. Monday at the Preston Funeral Home with a special service to be held at 7 P.M. Ms. Weddington will lie in state for one hour prior to funeral services at 1 P.M. Tuesday June 2, 2020 at the Beech Wall United Baptist Church. James Rutherford Blair, Jerry Colvin, AJ Williamson, and Harlan Burchett will officiate. Interment to immediately follow at the Johnson County Memorial Cemetery in Staffordsville.
