Betty Lou Sturgill Wallen, age 85, of Pataskala, OH formerly of Johnson County died Tuesday afternoon May 26, 2020. She was born August 17, 1934 in Paintsville to the late Nim and Opal Meeks Sturgill. On June 7, 1953 in Boons Camp she married Douglas Graden Wallen who survives. Additional survivors include: one son: Barry (Jani) Wallen; two daughters: Beverly Mattingly, Mary Saylor; two brothers: Bobby Sturgill, Larry Sturgill; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11 A.M. Friday May 29, 2020 in the Preston Funeral Chapel with visitation on Thursday evening from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. and from 9 A..M. Friday until time of services. Interment shall immediately follow funeral services in the Highland Memorial Cemetery at Staffordsville.
