Celia Wooton Salyer, age 83, of Flat Gap died Saturday May 30, 2020 at her residence. On May 13, 1937 in Shoal, KY she was born to the late Lawton and Lettie Huff Wooton. On April 15, 1954 in Keaton, KY she married the late James A Salyer. Surviving her death are two sons: Lonnie Salyer, Tim Salyer; two brothers: Alvis Wooton, Robert Wooton; three sisters: Ora Braunsweiger, Mary Trimble, Terrie Irrang; four grandchilden and four great- grandchildren. Celia was a faithful member of the Christian Union Church and a seamstress for Auxier Manufacturing. Visitation is scheduled for Monday from 1 P.M. until 9 P.M. at the Preston Funeral Home and from 9 A.M. Tuesday until time of services. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11 A.M. Tuesday June 2, 2020 in the Preston Funeral Chapel with her children Lonnie Salyer and Tim Salyer officiating. Interment to immediately follow in the Jimmy Salyer Cemetery at Flat Gap.
