Clarence Douglas Hamilton, age 76, of Wittensville died Saturday August 8, 2020 in Wittensville, KY. He was born August 18, 1943 in Paintsville to the late Orville and Gladys Wells Hamilton. On December 31, 1966 in Lexington, KY he married Donna May who survives. Doug was a member of the Southside Free Will Baptist Church, proudly served his country as a pilot in the U.S. Navy, and a retired Oil and Gas inspector for the State of Kentucky. Also surviving is 1 son; Russell Douglas (Jessica) Hamilton of Richmond, KY, 1 daughter; Christi Hamilton (Shannon) Smith of Thelma, KY, and 4 grandchildren; Courtney Smith, Chaz Smith, Lelia Hamilton, and Karlee Hamilton. Doug was preceded in death by his daughter Courtney, February 27, 1972. Visitation is scheduled for Friday October 9, 2020 at the Southside Free Will Baptist Church from 6 P.M. until 9 P.M. Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday October 10, 2020 at 11 A.M. at the Southside Free Will Baptist Church with Wayne Price Officiating.
