Clercie Dye Mollett, age 81, of Thelma died Tuesday September 24, 2019 at her residence. She was born November 18, 1937 in Orkney, KY to the late Kennel and Nancy Sword Dye. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one son: Charles Franklin Jr.; and one daughter in law: Regina Kestner Mollett. On March 30, 1955 in Paintsville she married Charles Franklin "Chick" Mollett who survives her death. Additional survivors include two sons: James (Sherri) Mollett, Johnny (Christen) Mollett; four daughters: Debra (Mike) Kessinger, Carolyn (Kim Allen) Moore, Barbara (Greg) Weddington, Kimberly Mollett, three brothers: Paul Dye, Kent Dye, Phineas Dye; three sisters: Jewell Hill, Josia Cornett, Debra Jean Dye; eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday from 6 P.M. until 9 P.M., on Friday from 6 P.M. until 9 P.M., and from 9 A.M. until time of services Saturday. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Saturday September 28, 2019 in the chapel of the Preston Funeral Home with Chuck Hall and Jimmy Dye officiating. Interment will immediately follow at the Highland Memorial Cemetery in Staffordsville, KY.
