James Columbus "Tuddie" Salyer, age 62, of Sitka died Monday October 7, 2019 at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY. He was born September 11, 1957 in Paintsville to the late Miltie and Annis Brooks Salyer. Surviving his death are two sisters: Mildred Cantrell and Ruby Waller. Friends may visit the Sitka Free Will Baptist Church from 6 P.M. until 9 P.M. Thursday and from 9 A.M. until time of services Friday. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11 A.M. Friday October 11, 2019 at the Sitka Free Will Baptist Church with Jim McKenzie officiating. Interment to immediately follow at the Salyer Family Cemetery in Sitka. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made in his memory by contacting the Preston Funeral Home at 606-789-4212.
