Nelza Faye Slone, age 88, died Wednesday October 23, 2019 in Georgetown. She was born August 23, 1931 to the late Ben and Agnes Hall Preece. Nelza was a cutter with the Auxier Sewing Factory and a member of the Auxier Free Will Baptist Church. On December 13, 1951 in Prestonsburg she married Russell Slone who precedes her in death. She is survived by one daughter, Ella Dean Litz of Lexington, KY; two brothers, William Shoulder of Columbus, OH and Harold Dennis Preece of Ashland, KY; and one grand son, Paul Benjamin Litz of Lexington, KY. Visitation will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Auxier Free Will Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at the Auxier Free Will Baptist Church with Bobby Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in the Auxier Relocation Cemetery at Auxier, KY.
