Barbara Frances Hafley, age 89, widow of Cecil Howard Hafley, Sr., departed this life on Saturday, November 16, 2019, at Fountain Circle Health and Rehabilitation Center in Winchester, where she resided. She was born in Bourbon County on September 21, 1930, the daughter of the late Herbert and Delcie Caswell Buckler, attended Paris High School and later worked as a seamstress at Hansley Mills and a clerk at Ben Franklin. She was a member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary and attended the Church of God. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Janet Sue Hafley, two sisters, Eula Barbee and Dorothy Warmouth, and a brother, Herbert “Buddy” Buckler. Surviving are her children, Patricia Daugherty and her husband Jerry of Winchester, Cecil Howard Hafley, Jr. and his wife Melanie of Adairsville, GA. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Lorna Lyons, Amanda Hill and husband Adam, Scott Lyons and wife Nancy, and Grayson Hafley; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and a special niece, Shirley Horn. The funeral service for Barbara F. Hafley will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with Rev. William E. Singleton officiating. Interment will follow in Paris Cemetery with casket bearers being Brandon Lyons, Dalton Lyons, Nicholas Lyons, Matthew Lyons, Drake Bussell and Karl Florence. Honorary bearers are Daniel Haskin, Marion Berry, Jimmy Collins, Jamie Turner, and Ricky Tubbs.
