Edna June Gray Payne age 77 a resident of Pineville, KY passed away January 24, 2020 at Middlesboro ARH. She was born June 18, 1942 in Whitley Co. KY to the late Lester and Elsie Gray. She had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Alton Payne; son Edward Lee Gray; daughters Rosalee Girdner and Elsie Payne; sisters and brothers Mollie Mae Edmondson, Franklin Gray, Opal Brooks, Vernon Gray, Darryell Gray, Elmer Lee Gray, Cleveland. Survivors include her grandson Eddie Wayne Gray; brother Lonnie (Sue) Gray of Barbourville, KY, sisters Beulah (Elmer) Jeffers of Pineville, KY, Thelma Elder of Walker KY, Wanda (Roger) Branham of Middlesboro, KY and Bonnie Grindell of Dunkink, OH; uncle Johnny Gray; brother-in-law Ike Edmondson, special nephew Lonnie Joe Gray; dear friend and fishing buddy Joyce Catoe of Flat Lick, KY. A host of many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 1PM Tuesday January 28, 2020 at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Rev Bill Gray; music will be provided by Barbara Bingham; pallbearers will be Joey, Marty, T.J, Conner, Steven, Bill and Mike; honorary pallbearer Dr. Neil Barry.
