Gladys Irene King Yancey, age 72 years, 4 months, and 25 days, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2019 at her home in Revelo, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 1:00pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Corder and Bro. Jason Cates officiating. Burial was in the King Cemetery. She was born May 23, 1947 in Revelo, Kentucky to Edgar J. King and Cynthia E. Cox King. Gladys was a homemaker and of the Church of God faith. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting and fishing. She also loved to go to church and read her bible. Gladys had a heart for people and was a caregiver to many family members and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents and her husbands, Clyde Cox, Bud Cooper, and Dennis Yancey. Survivors include three daughters, Pamela Lynch, Kimberly Strunk and her husband, Joe, and Cynthia King, all of Stearns, two brothers, Coy Delmer King and his wife, Sharon, of Stearns, and Donald Goldman King of Revelo, a sister, Connie Sue Yancey and her husband, Kenneth, of Revelo, grandchildren Jessica, Jordan Joseph, Brittany, Gabriel, and Jeremy, and great grandchildren, Paige, Ethan, and Sammy. Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home was honored to serve the family of Gladys Yancey.
