Funeral service celebrating the life of Jeanie Flanagan of West Monroe, LA will be held at 3:00pm, Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at The Assembly of West Monroe with Rev. Russell Rhodes officiating. Family will receive friends for visitation, Monday, December 16, 2019 from 5pm-7pm at Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe. Jeanie was born January 20, 1954 and passed from this life into her Heavenly home on December 13, 2019 at the age of 65. She was a part of The Assembly Church choir and a part of a "Sole to Soul" running group, and most of all, a prayer warrior. She was known as a loving mother, grandmother, and wife that loved her family. She enjoyed spending time in God's word and praying for others. Jeanie is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Florence Arrant; two sisters, Virginia and Carolyn. Those left to cherish her memories include her husband of 46 years, Papaw Gerald; daughter, Misty and Jeff Manning; sons, Shain and Amy Flanagan, Jose and lashea reeves and their children, Jose Junior,David, Landon, Lillie, Abby, and Elisha; nine sisters, Lorene, Evelyn, Katie, Elaine, Martha, Cecelia, Shirley, Betty, and Joanie; two brothers, Vernon and Kent; eight grandchildren, Samantha, Brianna, Jared, Gerald, Hayden, Holden, Ryan, and Hannah; four great-grandchildren, Lexie, Ace, Jamison, Brooklyn, and her fur baby, Max; Also survived by numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of extended family and friends.
