Michael Shane Finklea West Monroe, LA A Celebration of Life Service for Michael “Mickey” Finklea, 36, of West Monroe, LA will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Dr, West Monroe, with Rev. Jimmy Rawson officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Mikey, an electrician, was born on August 11, 1982 to the union of Richard Hicks Finklea and Roxanne McVicker Finklea, and passed from this life on September 5, 2019, in West Monroe, LA. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Marshall and Willene Finklea, Malcolm and Peggy McVicker; father, Richard Finklea; and special uncle, Eddie McVicker. Survivors left to cherish his memory are his wife, Christy Finklea; sons, Mason Cole, Elijah Blain, Austin Cole, and Tyler Blake; daughter, Katelyn Nichole; brothers, Chris Finklea and Richard Finklea; sisters, Shea Emery and Gracie Finklea; mother, Roxanne Finklea; two grandchildren, Carter Layne and Matthew Ronald; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
