Geneva Simms Roberts age 83 of Wisner La. passed away Wednesday June the 11th in Winnsboro. Funeral Services will be at Youngs Community Memorial Funeral Home on Friday June the 13th in Winnnsboro La., starting at 11:00 am with Bro Ron Ferrington officiating. Visitation will be Friday the 13th also starting at 9:00 am going till 11:00 am. Interment will be at Oakley Cemetery in Gilbert La. Geneva was born August 23th ,1931. She was a teacher for the Winnsboro School System for many years, and she was a dedicated homemaker that loved her family very much. She is preceded in death by Husband- Aubry Ralph Roberts Sr. Father – John Simms Mother – Effie Beach Simms Brother – Virgil Hardy Simms Brother – John Henry Simms She is survived by Daughter – Martha Elizabeth Burlew and Husband A.J. Daugther – Margaret Ann Henry and Husband David Michael Son – Robbie Roberts Sister – Ruby Campbell Sister – Bell Alexander Five - Grandchildren - Jessica Henry, Joy Henry,Danielle Henry, John Burlew and Julie Wyatt. Three- Great - Grandchildren- Anna Wyatt ,Sarah Wyatt and Aubry Ann Henry. also survived by a host of family and friends.
