Jacqueline “Jackie” W. Smith

Jacqueline “Jackie” Smith, 68, passed away peacefully, April 24, 2017 at a Bangor hospital. She was born in Belfast, June 3, 1948 daughter of James P. and Hazel E. (Reynolds) Ellis.

Jackie was a graduate of Belfast Area High School, class of 1968. She was employed at Viner Bros. Shoe for many years.

Surviving are one son, Rick Smith and his wife, Martha; a grandson, Connor Smith, all of Orland; four sisters, Eloise Bane of Burnham, Linda Dunbar and her husband, Bill of Glenburn, Pam Faulkingham and her husband, John , Debbie Lawrence and her husband, Wayne all of Belfast; many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, grand parents and a brother-in-law, Rodney Bane.

Graveside services will be held noon Friday, April 28, 2017 at the Smart Cemetery, Curtis Rd. Swanville. Relatives and friends are invited to share conversation and refreshments at the VFW Hall, 34 Field St., Belfast, directly following the service.
