<p>Barbara (McGown) Oldenburg</p><p>Hermon </p><p>Barbara Eleanor (McGown) Oldenburg at the age of 96 went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 23, 2020. Barbara was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She enjoyed serving her family in any way requested of her. She is predeceased by her parents, Annie Mabel and Roger McGown; sisters and brother, Eula Littlefield, Kay Harris and Roger McGown, Jr., and her very special niece and friend, Gail Sinclair. She is survived by three daughters and their families: Kate and Sterling Hoak of Benton, with whom she has resided the last three and a half years; Loretta and Dean Opsal of Hayden, Idaho; and Leitha and Jim Robinson of Hermon. Her grandchildren and their spouses include Eric Hoak and his wife, Erica Jason; Lindsay and Paul Trovarello; Nicholas Moore and his wife-to-be, Kayla Williams; great grandchildren Landyn, Rowan and Taylor Hoak and Francesca (Frankie) Trovarello, all of whom she loved with a full heart. </p><p>Funeral services will be held 10 am Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St., following the service.
