Bangor – Ida Weinstein, 89, died July 1, 2020 at a Bangor Hospital. She was born March 6, 1931, in Millinocket, the daughter of Louis and Jean E. (Rappaport) Weinstein.

Ida was employed at Miller’s Restaurant for a number of years. She was a long-time resident of Garland Street in Bangor and resided at Eastside Rehabilitation in Bangor, since March, 2013 where Ida was a much-loved resident.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Sarah Weinstein of Bangor, (Ruth Weinstein) Krueger of New Jersey, Nathan J. Weinstein of Bangor, and Harry Weinstein of Bangor.

Ida is survived by her nephew, Cory Krueger, M.D., of Cottonwood, AZ and his wife, Barbara and her niece, Lisa Macdonald of Gilbert, AZ.

A graveside service will be held 12:00 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2020, at the Beth Israel Cemetery on the Severance Rd., off Mt. Hope Ave., Bangor. A funeral procession will form at 11:15 a.m. at the Jewish Funeral Chapel, 118 Center St., for those who choose to participate.
