Lawrence Bernard Randall Obituary

Lawrence Bernard Randall, 89, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on November 30, 2019, at a Bangor hospital. He was born August 26, 1930, in Bradford, the son of Austin C. and Florence E. (Brookins) Randall.


Lawrence enlisted with the Maine Air National Guard out of high school then was called into active duty in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War. He worked for the Bangor & Aroostook Railroad throughout his entire working career holding many jobs. He was a long time member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Brewer. Lawrence enjoyed gardening and reading about history which he shared with his family.


In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his loving wife Elaine (Dyer) Randall in 2012. He is survived by his daughters, Kathy Randall Hatch of Trenton, Gail Randall Weathers and husband Barry of Topsham, Rebecca Randall Thibodeau of Bangor; grandchildren, Melissa Malacaria and husband Michael, Erin Weathers, William Weathers, Brittany Morrill and husband Brandon, Molly Weathers, Mckenzie Weathers, Vaughn Thibodeau and wife Amanda, Jonathon Thibodeau; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Gracelyn and Madison Thibodeau; siblings, Marilyn Willsey of Milo, Malcolm Randall of Bradford, David Randall of Bangor.


A Service of Remembrance will be held 11 AM, Thursday, December 5, 2019, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center Street, Bangor. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center Street, Bangor, following the service.
