<p>Philippe E. Trottier</p><p>Bangor</p><p>Phil Trottier, 77, passed away June 29, 2020 after a long illness. He was born in Hartford, CT., October 13, 1942, the son of Joseph Frederick Leon Trottier and Thelma Pearl (Huff) Trottier. </p><p>Phil graduated from Foxcroft Academy. After which he was drafted into the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea. Upon his honorable discharge he returned to Bangor and was hired by the Bangor Police Department. While employed there, he attended Husson College and graduated in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. After 22 years of service there, he managed the Capehart Housing for 20 years.</p><p>He relished Friday morning breakfasts with other retired police officers. Phil enjoyed reading, music, his gun collection, camping, family vacations and day trips to Dover to visit family.</p><p>Surviving are his beloved wife, Sharon Trottier; his son, Robert Trottier; beloved granddaughter, Isabella Footman-Trottier; siblings, Mary Ann Whitten, Jackie Trottier Priest and husband Barry, Charles Trottier and wife, Beverly; nieces and nephews; special friends, Alan and Lorna Lane.</p><p>A graveside service with military honors will be held at a time and place to be announced.</p><p>Condolences to the family may be expressed at BrookingsSmith.com.</p>
