Robert John Maquillan Obituary

EDDINGTON - On December 2, 2019 at 4:21 PM your heart stopped beating and mine became forever broken. Our love story began the first time I saw you at Milletts Restaurant. You needed a waitress, but I convinced you that you needed a wife. We were each other’s best friend, business partners, and keeper of secrets. You saw my flaws and loved me anyway.

Robbie was born in Bangor, Maine to Ronald and Nancy Maquillan. He would often recall great memories on Chemo Pond with his grandparents, John and Polly Maquillan and his siblings, Mark and wife, Sandy Maquillan, Laurie Maquillan, Lisa and husband, Tim Dougherty, and Chris Maquillan. Chemo Pond forever represented family and an easier way of life.

Robbie owned and operated Auto works in Eddington with his daughter Samantha. Robbie believed in treating people with respect and kindness. He could often be found cooking lunch for his employees as well as anyone lucky enough to stop in at lunch time.

Robbie loved his family, his John Deere tractor, and cold bud light, we hope in that order.

Robbie was predeceased by his grandparents John and Polly Maquillan, Louise Hamilton, his father, and his friend Chip Lyall. Robbie is survived by his mother, Nancy Wajda, his wife and best friend, Christii Maquillan, RN; his three children: Jessica Coakley, Robert Maquillan Jr, and TSgt Samantha Maquillan and one grandson, Braden Maquillan. He is also survived with extended family members Sam and Loreta Hake, Lorii Fowler, and Martha Perkins. Robbie was loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends.

Please join us 4-7 PM Friday December 13, 2019 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center Street, Bangor for visiting hours.
