Harry Anneley Obituary

Harry Anneley, 90, passed away on Friday June 21st 2019 at his home in Edgecomb Maine. He was born on December 07, 1928 in Dennisville, New Jersey, the son of the late Harry and Emma Anneley. He married his wife Mary Ellen on April 22, 1952. Harry loved the work he did for over 30 years as a professional truck driver for Chemical Leaman Tanklines. He was proud to have driven over 2 million miles without a chargeable accident. After retiring in 1990, he continued to work as a driver for Farmington Ford and Jeep Chrysler in Farmington Maine. He would travel to various locations and retrieve cars for the dealership. He was a kind, caring and non judgmental person and no one knew that better than his family and friends. His family was his primary focus and interest; and while an avid salt water fisherman for recreation, was never without family or a friend by his side. A remembrance of Harry’s life will be held on Sunday June 30, 2019 from 1 to 4 in the afternoon at the Waters Edge Event Center in Edgecomb Maine. Harry was predeceased by his wife, Mary “Marie” and son, John. He is survived by his daughter, Susan Anneley, grandson, Harry E. Anneley, cousin, Evelyn Hartum, niece, Jean Lashley and nephew, David Lashley. In lieu of Flowers Memorial Donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105
