Orrington- Lainie Pickering, 37, peacefully left this earth to join her Dad and Nanna on February 19, 2019. Her CREST syndrome finally got the best of her. She leaves behind her “babies” Abby and Benny, mother and stepdad Paulette and Bob Sawyer, EWSM Susan Pickering, brother Mike Pickering and sister in-law Kelley and two beautiful nieces, Emma and Millie Lain Pickering. She is also survived by her extended Pickering, Johnson, Burbank and Sawyer families. She loved them all and enjoyed the holidays and special visits she shared with them. Heartfelt thanks go out to all the girls at the “complex” that took her under their wing. Lainie was “strong like bull” dealing with her illness, never giving up and always adjusting to new symptoms. She is free now the cage door has opened, and she is soaring with the eagles. We all loved her in our own special way.
