Thomas Hawley Fraser

Stockton Springs- Thomas H. Fraser, 81, of Stockton Springs, passed away Friday, Dec. 6, 2019 at a local Bangor hospital. Born in Searsport, ME on July 27, 1938, he was the son of Kenneth and Annie Fraser. Tom graduated from Searsport District High School, class of 1957. He served in the United States Marine Corp with pride. Lasting relationships were formed from his lifelong career as a conductor of the Bangor & Aroostook Railroad Company. He was a selectman for the town of Stockton Springs. Tom is survived by his wife Betty (Farrow) Fraser of Stockton Springs; 6 step-children, Linda Price, Deborah Bigelow, Brian Murphy, Colleen Mendoza and her spouse Paul, Galan Murphy and his spouse Denise, and Bill King; 5 step grand-children, Thomas Clark, Tim and Jimi Mendoza, Elena, Evelyn and Liam Murphy; one sister, Carol Hall; nieces and nephews and their families; along with special friends, Keirsten and Kenneth Wyman and family. He was predeceased by his parents; one stepson, Dale Price; brothers, John Fraser Sr. and Kenneth Fraser Jr. and sister, Brenda Littlefield; along with one brother-in-law, Dan Hall. Donations may be made in Tom’s memory to the Stockton Springs Heating Fund, 217 Main St., Stockton Springs, ME 04981. A memorial service will be held Sat., Dec. 21, 2019 at 1P.M. at the Searsport First Congregational Church, 8 Church St., Searsport, ME 04974.
