Steuben Eugene A. Robinson, 80, died at his home March 29, 2020 after battling a long illness. He was born in Steuben, December 10, 1939 the son of Charles A. and Pauline M. (Richardson) Robinson, Sr. He attended Steuben Grammar School and one day of high school. He then went to work lobstering, clamming, cutting wood, sardine and alewife fishing, boat building and 9 years of being a Selectman, Tax Assessor and Overseer. His greatest passions were lobstering, deer hunting, camping at the lake and antagonizing anyone he could. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Sheila; sister, Addie Dyer; sons, Eric and wife Joy and Glenn and Lorena; daughters, Darlene and husband Billy Falabella and Pam and husband Todd Blanchard; stepdaughter, Cheryl MacLean; stepsons, Tim Bybee and girlfriend Sue and Rob Foss and girlfriend Cindy; eight grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; Aunt Gladyce Richardson (who was like a 2nd mother); five brothers and one sister. All services will be private. Interment will be at Robinson Family Cemetery, Steuben with Pastor Gregory Hewitt officiating.
