Anthony Kevin “Tony” Nadeau, 27, of Kennebunkport, died unexpectedly on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Maine Medical Center in Portland. He was born in Providence, RI, a son of James Francis Nadeau, Jr., and Janice Ann Kakela. Tony grew up in Providence until his early teens. He then moved with his mother and brother to Maine. He was a chef at Bandaloop Restaurant in Kennebunkport. In addition to cooking, he enjoyed concerts and spending time with friends. His computer skills were legendary. Tony is survived by his mother, Janice Ann Kakela-Wolosko and Tony’s step-father, Mark Wolosko of Kennebunkport; his father, James Francis Nadeau, Jr., and step-mother, Andrea Soave-Nadeau of Cranston, RI; 2 brothers, Micheal Lauber of Kennebunkport, and Jaxxson Nadeau of Cranston, RI; his paternal grandmother, Geraldine LePore of Lincoln, RI; his aunt, Tami Ferraiuolo and her wife Joelle, of Providence, RI; his uncle, Shawn Nadeau, and his wife Gina, of Lincoln, RI; his nieces Grace and Sofia, and nephew Shawn; and his Godmother, Jennifer Evans. Tony is also survived by his mother Janice’s special foster family of Edward and Rita Keane. Visiting hours will be on Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer Street, Kennebunk. At 4:00 p.m., during the visitation, family and friends will be invited to share stories and memories of Tony’s life.
