Torrington, CT. – Bruce E. Chamberlain, 68, of Torrington, CT, passed away, Sunday, April 2nd at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, CT. He was born January 3, 1949 in Lewiston, Maine, the son of Merrill and Ellen (Lee) Chamberlain. He was a graduate of Lewis Mills High School in Burlington, CT. Following graduation he joined the U.S. Army and served during Vietnam. Bruce worked as an automobile mechanic until he was forced to stop due to declining health. He is survived by his mother, Ellen Chamberlain of Canton, Maine, his sister, Valerie Arendt and her husband Jon, his niece Beth and nephew Greg of Southbury, CT., and his daughter, Terri Villarouel-Huey of California. He was predeceased by his father, Merrill Chamberlain.
