Livermore Falls – Robert J. Stanton 67, of Livermore Falls has gone to be with the angels and his family on April 16, 2020. He was born February 23, 1953 in Waltham, MA, the son of Lawrence and Ruth (Merrifield) Stanton. Robert served in the U.S. Army from 1970 to 1972, he was released due to medical reasons. He was a man who loved to tell jokes or stories and then ask us if we believed him. When we would say “No” he would tell us he was lying anyways! My Mom and I enjoyed Bobby’s company on a daily basis because he would always make us laugh even when we were having a bad day. He was into ballroom dancing with those that he enjoyed being around, he felt like he was on top of the world when he was doing his dancing, he also helped a lot of people who did not know how to do the “two-step” as he would call it. Robert was also a part of the AA community in Lewiston and Portland, he was well known in those locations. He would also help those in need of help as long as he had it. He was a man that enjoyed drawings, listening to his music and playing with his neighbor’s cats. He will be sadly missed by all that he knew him, during his journey throughout his life. He had a great impact on most people. We will miss your humorous laughs and jokes on a daily basis, Love Michelle and Deborah Munsey, and their animals too.
