Theresa M. Legere

Farmington - Theresa M. Legere, 84, a resident of Jay, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Edgewood Rehab & Living Center. She was born on April 8, 1933 in Chisholm, Maine, the daughter of Leo Legere and Rose (Breton) Legere. She graduated from Jay High School class of 1953. She was a self-employed hairdresser and also worked at the local shoe shop. Theresa was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church. Theresa enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family. She is survived by her 2 sisters; Aline Purington of Jay, Jeannine Perreault and her husband Robert of Jay, a brother; Adrian Legere of Jay, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her brother; Lucien Legere, her sister; Margaret Castonguay, her brother-in-law; Larry Purington, her sister-in-law; Marie “Mary Lou” Legere and her nephew; Marcel Castonguay.
