1978 ~ 2012 Livermore – Warren D. Small, 34, a resident of Livermore, died unexpectedly Tuesday, July 31st at his home. He was born April 23, 1978 in Lewiston, the son of David and Mary Beth (Stewart) Small. Warren was a 1996 graduate of Livermore Falls High School. During his time at LFHS, he played football his Freshman through his Senior years; he was Captain of the team his Junior & Senior years, and was on the All- Star Team in 1994. Following graduation Warren worked in the family business, Central Maine Concrete in Livermore. On May 20, 2006, he married Crystal Nickel, having two beautiful daughters, Riley and Rachel. Warren was a member of the Maine Antique Tractor Association and the Maine State Beekeepers Association. He was a hard worker and provider for his family, even during his years in school he worked for Finley Funeral Home and his family’s company. He could light up a room with his smile and knew how to make everyone laugh. No matter where Warren went he could pick out somebody he knew. If you met him just once you were considered his friend. He loved taking his daughters for golf cart rides at home and they always helped him mow the lawn. His daughters adored him. Family hugs were Warren's specialty, never missing the opportunity to get a hug from his "girls". Riley and Daddy loved to go tend to the bees and Rachel was always the first to greet him when he walked through the door. Warren was a loving and devoted, husband, father, son, brother and a great friend, he will be deeply missed by those that knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife, Crystal Small, his daughters, Riley and Rachel Small, his father, David Small, his mother, Mary Beth Small, all of Livermore; his sister, Laura Pollock and her husband Robert of Stamford, Connecticut; paternal grandmother, Francis Small of Livermore; maternal grandmother, Barbara Stewart of Rockport, Massachusetts; his father and mother-in-law, Richard and Gail Nickel of Buckfield; brothers-in-law, Brian Nickel of Buckfield and Craig Nickel and fiancée, Amie Thibodeau of Auburn; his grandmother-in-law, Lorette Chabot of Jay and numerous aunts and uncles.
